So, for example, if you are a wellness practitioner who preaches slowing down, what does that exactly look like for you in your daily life? What is your morning routine or nighttime routine? Or if you're a business coach who values community, how are you actually fostering that in your own life?
Takeaway:And I've seen quite a few small businesses burnout early on, and I know a lot of that can be contributed to content creation and marketing is a big piece of that puzzle. ...what has really helped me to kind of get that spark back and make marketing fun again is to find a way to infuse life back into business instead of keeping them separate.
Takeaway:...we as designers, or at least myself, I can speak on behalf of myself, that I undergo kind of the same struggles and mindsets, questions, and so on and so forth, similar to my clients, so it's really interesting for me to kind of film and share this process in hopes that I can also inspire other business owners who are on a rebranding journey...

Takeaway:...so many times when, like, for example, someone's signed on to work with me, they've said, I just like the way you write your thing. And so I want my thing to feel that way too, right?
Takeaway:People today are just so much more aware of sales tactics. They don't want to be sold to every single time they open an app. They just essentially want to buy from people that they know, trust, and can actually see them walking the talk.
Takeaway:...the most engagement I often get from my content is usually either lifestyle focus or kind of like behind the scenes. And I think a lot of that is because people are smart, they are able to see and find the results pretty easily through testimonials and case studies and so on and so forth. But I think what really intrigues them the most is really about the experience behind the scenes and who we are as a business owner.
Takeaway:I find that when we are choosing to sprinkle in personal lifestyle content into our marketing, not only does that help connect our audience to a deeper level, but can also build our personal brand at the same time. And when we choose to bring more of ourselves into the brand, marketing just becomes a little bit more effortless, a bit more natural.
Takeaway:And I think that a lot of us have heard or have been told what content pillars are and how to pick them, and what I would actually invite everyone to add one more is a lifestyle focused pillar. So instead of saying what you think that you live by certain values in your business, actually show it. So take people behind the scenes, let them into your world...
Takeaway:I would say the marketing strategy that I'm enjoying the most right now, and it's also working for me, is finding a way to strategically build a personal and a business brand simultaneously. So as small businesses, small business service providers, we are the heart of our brands...
